As per usual, I hate writing these things because they tend to make me feel a little weird but I don’t see the point of leaving something empty that needs to be filled and some basic information should go here.

Personal details, my real name is Shawn Lunn, I’ve been to some college, I’m currently looking for work (which hopefully I will find soon), I love reading, writing reviews/Fanfiction, listening to music (very eclectic tastes), watching movies, socialising with friends, have recently taken an interest in Philosophy and that pretty much covers the basics. Sorry but my involvement on this site will rarely have me talking about my private life. I like to keep some things separate.

So, why I am using LiveJournal? It’s a way of branching out on the internet and if you can’t be bothered to read my Facebook or Twitter pages, then you can read things like this.

Mostly I use this account to blog (my second place after TV Tome to avoid confusion) but I’m also signed up to places like ats_btvs_fanfic:: and dw_slash on this site, so you can get my Fanfiction on places like that.

Fanfiction Breakdown

This is more of a recent thing but since July 2008, I’ve dabbled into the murky world of Fanfiction but only for five series so far. I do have a list of rules for the kinds of stuff that I both write and read. The rules are …

1: Little to none of the domestic stuff. It's just not of interest to me but I am interested in character as much as plot.
2: Slash content will be limited to what the show in question has given us but don't expect anything explicit.
3: A fair depiction of every character, even ones I don't like. I'm all for realism.
4: A mixture of one shots and multi-chaptered stories. Be warned, I tend to write Fanfiction like graphic novels (length wise).
5: Each pivotal Big Bad will factor within the stories, if warranted.
6: Swearing, sex and violence done as similar to the series. I won't go over the top with any of it.
7: A few crossovers will happen but not a lot.
